My dear sisters in Christ,

We are seeing on the news the horrible things that are happening to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. The number of refugees and the victims of this unprovoked and merciless war are increasing each day. Many of you contacted me and asked if Philoptochos is doing anything to help the people of Ukraine. The National Philoptochos Executive Board approved last night that $10,000.00 be sent immediately to IOCC who are already in the area and are purchasing and distributing the most basic items to the people affected by this crisis.

Please be generous with your support. It is critical that we concentrate our efforts on aiding the people of Ukraine.

Please continue to pray for those who are still in Ukraine and fighting to defend their country, for those who have perished and for those who are trying to find safety elsewhere.
